DAP warns elected officials they must meet performance targets or lose future candidacy

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said party representatives who fail to meet strict KPIs will not receive nomination letters for the next general election.

At the 24th Perak DAP Convention held at the Ipoh Convention Centre, Anthony Loke, secretary-general of the Democratic Action Party, outlined a rigorous KPI framework that all elected DAP officials must satisfy. The criteria include community outreach, constituency responsibilities, party activities, organisational strengthening and visible ground engagement. Loke stressed that failure to meet these standards will result in the loss of nomination letters for the next general election.

He added that the monitoring mechanism operates across Malaysia, though each state tailors its approach, with Perak's system being particularly stringent. Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming attended the event, and Loke also mentioned that seat allocation for the upcoming Melaka election has already been settled at the state level.
