Daughter describes surveillance video of mother’s final moments before death near Vegas airport

Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old grandmother from Brooklyn, went missing in Las Vegas after departing a longtime friend’s apartment on August 8 to run an errand. Twelve days later a homeless man spotted her body in an embankment near Terminal 1 of Harry Reid International Airport. Surveillance video released by Las Vegas police shows Alisa appearing overheated, sitting briefly, tossing her bag over the embankment and proceeding to walk down the slope.

The recording later captures her falling, getting back up and finally collapsing. Her daughter, Kristen Goods, viewed the footage and described the scene as surprising and out of character, saying she still demands clarification about what led to her mother’s death. The cause of death has not been released, though Alisa was found wearing a fanny pack. Kristen discussed the case in an interview with News 3 on August 31.
