At the Primetime Emmy Awards, David Harbour was honored with the Supporting Actor prize for his performance as Floyd Smernitch in HBO Max’s limited series “DTF St. Louis.” This accolade represents Harbour’s first Emmy win, though he has been nominated twice before for “Stranger Things.” In addition to his acting award, Harbour is also a nominee as an executive producer for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series for the same show.
He praised the writing by Steve Conrad and thanked the HBO team during his acceptance speech. The competition featured nominees such as Jason Bateman, Richard Gadd, Richard Jenkins, Charles Melton and Nick Offerman. “DTF St. Louis,” which debuted in March, has earned a total of 13 Emmy nominations across various categories.
