Deadly head-on crash on Brazil's BR-373 highway claims at least 21 lives

The road operator Via Araucaria reported that a bus and a truck collided head-on on the BR-373 highway in Brazil's southern state of Paraná. All 21 fatalities were passengers on the bus, while four individuals sustained injuries. The accident blocked the roadway completely, and officials gave no timeline for clearing the site. One outlet's reports say the bus was operated by the Imbituva municipal health department. Authorities in Imbituva have not yet responded to inquiries.
