Entrepreneur Deepinder Goyal shared images of six colour choices for the upcoming Temple wearable, noting that pre-order availability is expected "hopefully next week" after a few remaining items are finalized. Customers on the early-access waitlist will be given priority when the booking window opens. Temple relies on the BrainFlow technology, which Goyal claims can continuously track cerebral blood flow and has been validated in a study of 60 volunteers against time-domain near-infrared spectroscopy.
The research, posted as a preprint, showed BrainFlow detecting brain-specific blood-volume changes beyond scalp signals. Goyal invited independent researchers to replicate the findings. Temple is one of his major ventures beyond Zomato, aimed at extending healthy human life through wearable health data.
