Defense tech firm REDLattice to list on Nasdaq via $1.25 billion SPAC merger

REDLattice agreed to become a public company in the United States through a merger with SPAC Bold Eagle Acquisition, valuing it at $1.25 billion.

REDLattice announced a plan to go public in the United States by merging with the special purpose acquisition company Bold Eagle Acquisition. The deal values the defense-technology firm at a pre-money enterprise worth $1.25 billion and is expected to generate roughly $610 million in proceeds, of which $335 million comes from committed capital by mutual-fund and institutional investors. Founded in 2012, REDLattice provides lawful-intercept, vulnerability research, and intelligence-acquisition services exclusively to nation-state and federal government agencies, serving over 100 customers in 23 countries.

The transaction reflects a broader revival of SPAC activity after a period of low usage. Upon completion, REDLattice will list on the Nasdaq under the ticker "REDL" and the merger is anticipated to close around year-end 2026.

Why it matters

The SPAC deal will give REDLattice public market access, boosting capital for its defense-tech growth and signaling renewed SPAC interest.
