Definium Therapeutics reports LSD pill cuts anxiety in Phase 3 trial
Definium Therapeutics announced that its experimental LSD tablet, DT120, significantly reduced symptoms in a Phase 3 study of generalized anxiety disorder.
In a randomized, double-blind trial, 214 participants received either a single dose of DT120, the company’s proprietary LSD formulation, or a placebo. The results showed a marked improvement in anxiety measures for those taking the drug. This follows Definium’s earlier Phase 3 success treating major depression. The company highlighted the statistical significance of the findings.
