Delaware dance teacher arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges
Emily Pryor Albino, a 23-year-old instructor at X-Extreme Dance Studio in Laurel, was taken into custody on four felony counts of first-degree child sexual abuse and one count of sexual solicitation of a child.
Delaware State Police disclosed that 23-year-old Emily Pryor Albino, who teaches at X-Extreme Dance Studio in Laurel, faces four felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust and one felony count of sexual solicitation of a child using electronic devices. The charges stem from alleged abuse of two teenage dancers and the exchange of sexually explicit messages. Albino was arraigned, released on $110,000 cash bail, and placed under the custody of the Delaware Department of Correction.
Detectives, who opened the investigation on Aug. 4, believe more victims may exist and are working with the Delaware Department of Justice to expand the inquiry. Police have asked anyone with relevant information to contact Detective R. Mitchell, Delaware Crime Stoppers, or the state police’s official Facebook page.
