Dell COO Jeff Clarke Marks 39 Years of Service as One Dell Way Rollout Advances

Jeff Clarke, serving as chief operating officer and vice chairman of Dell, marked 39 years of employment by sharing his original employee ID on X and reflecting on his career start at PC's Limited, now Dell Technologies. Dell CEO Michael Dell publicly honored Clarke on X and LinkedIn, emphasizing his lasting impact and personal friendship. Clarke’s anniversary coincides with the ongoing One Dell Way transformation, described by him as the largest change in the firm’s history, intended to replace disparate systems with a single enterprise platform.

The rollout began on May 3, initially affecting the Client Solutions Group and other functions, while the Infrastructure Solutions Group will transition later this month. The initiative seeks to streamline data flow, reduce redundant work and accelerate decision-making to stay competitive in an AI-focused market. Employees have been trained since early February and are urged to adopt the new standardized processes with urgency. Dell’s spokesperson reiterated that the program aims to simplify, standardize and automate operations across the organization.
