Derbyshire Police close investigation, England cricketer Brydon Carse faces no charges

A man was briefly arrested for being drunk and disorderly before being released after his details were taken. Bar staff reported that a woman, later identified as Molly Malones, claimed she had been touched inappropriately, prompting the man's removal from the venue.

Before officers could interview her, the woman left the bar and later indicated she did not wish to file a complaint, leading police to cease further action. The incident was logged as a sexual assault under crime recording standards, but no charges will be brought against England cricketer Bryyon Carse, who missed the second and third Tests of the Pakistan series as a result of the episode.
