Developer releases HiLight Studio to unlock Pixel 11 Pro's notification LED

A new app called HiLight Studio lets Pixel 11 Pro owners fully customize the phone's HiLight LED, overcoming the limited native options.

Google's Pixel 11 Pro includes a HiLight notification LED that, out of the box, only supports two scenarios and five preset colors. To address this limitation, developer Dhananjay_Tech released an application named HiLight Studio, offering users the ability to assign any of eight preset colors or a custom hue via a slider. The tool provides extensive customization, including pattern selection, cycle timing, brightness, intensity, and saturation adjustments.

Users can also import and export preset configurations for sharing with others. Since the app has not been published on the Play Store, it must be downloaded from GitHub and installed through sideloading. The developer expressed enthusiasm for the added functionality.

Why it matters

It gives Pixel 11 Pro users practical control over a hardware feature that Google left largely unused.
