Data from over 6,500 French fuel stations show the average diesel price climbing to €2.41 per litre, the highest ever recorded. Premium gasoline (SP-95 E10) averaged €2.169, while regular SP-95 and SP98 were €2.231 and €2.266 respectively. A few locations, such as Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque in Pyrénées-Orientales, posted prices close to €3 per litre.
