Diesel Prices Set to Fall While Gasoline May Climb Next Week in the Philippines

Jetti Petroleum expects diesel to drop by about P1.80-P2 per litre next week, while gasoline could rise by roughly P2-P2.20 per litre.

In a recent advisory, Jetti Petroleum president Leo Bellas said diesel prices are likely to be reduced by P1.80 to P2 per litre. At the same time, gasoline prices are projected to increase by P2 to P2.20 per litre. The mixed adjustments come amid ongoing concerns about supply disruptions, including tanker attacks and regional security tensions. Bellas noted that oil markets are currently softer due to reserve releases and improving Middle Eastern flows.
