Digital Brand Architects acquires V1sion Ventures to boost creator entrepreneurship

Digital Brand Architects (DBA) is buying boutique talent manager V1sion Ventures, founded by Alina Benun, to expand its creator-business services.

Digital Brand Architects announced the purchase of V1sion Ventures, a management firm started by creator Alina Benun in 2022. V1sion Ventures, which generated a seven-figure revenue in its first year, represents a mix of Instagram storytellers, musicians and athletes such as Leigh Soriano, Chelsea Jordan and Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun. The financial details of the acquisition were not released.

DBA, acquired by United Talent Agency in 2019, will integrate V1sion's talent into its existing portfolio and Benun will join the company with three talent managers and two other staff members. DBA's chief executive Raina Penchansky said the purchase aligns with the firm’s long-standing focus on helping creators build lasting businesses. The transaction adds to a wave of influencer-sector M&A, following purchases by firms like Publicis Groupe and Accenture of platforms and agencies such as Captiv8 and Whalar.

Why it matters

The acquisition signals growing consolidation in the influencer market as brands seek to monetize creator businesses.
