The latest figures reveal that Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) moved Rs 2.08 lakh crore to beneficiaries, encompassing 245 crore individual transactions. The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme contributed Rs 15,241 crore, while Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin and the PAHAL LPG subsidy accounted for Rs 10,423 crore and Rs 4,788 crore respectively. An additional Rs 56,170 crore was allocated to other schemes. Haryana led the state-wise DBT ranking, followed by Uttar Pradesh and Tripura.
