Disney appoints former Xbox executive Jennifer Creegan to lead marketing technology and operations
Disney announced that former Xbox strategist Jennifer Creegan will become its inaugural chief of marketing technology and operations, reporting to chief marketing and brand officer Asad Ayaz.
Disney has established its first marketing technology and operations chief, appointing former Xbox executive Jennifer Creegan to the position. Reporting to chief marketing and brand officer Asad Ayaz, Creegan will start on Sept. 7 and will coordinate efforts across Disney’s film, television, streaming, sports, parks, games and consumer-product divisions. The role is intended to deepen fan insights, accelerate decision-making and unlock new growth opportunities by leveraging technology and data.
Creegan comes from Microsoft, where she led Xbox’s strategy, business planning and insights and previously spent over 20 years in the company’s advertising division. Ayaz highlighted that her background in merging technology with innovative marketing will be crucial for delivering a more connected Disney experience worldwide.
