Disney Cruise Line resumes New York departures with seven new itineraries

Disney Cruise Line confirmed that its Disney Wish vessel will return to New York City this September, marking the first New York port call in three years. The cruise line plans to operate seven itineraries, each lasting between four and seven nights, departing from the city. Five of the trips will stop at Bermuda’s pink-sand beaches, while another set will travel north through Boston, St. John and Halifax to showcase autumn foliage along the New England and Canadian coasts.

A five-night cruise will also sail to San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a Bermuda stop, and a seven-night journey will explore the Caribbean, calling at Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire and Dominica before the ship moves to its home base in Port Canaveral for winter Bahamian cruises. The announcement follows recent updates to Disney Cruise Line’s cabin-door decoration policy and a prior cancellation of a Singapore-based sailing.
