Disney+ unveils Percy Jackson Season 3 trailer, hinting at new quests and prophecies
Disney+ released the first trailer for the third season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” set to debut on Nov. 20, showing Percy confronting a looming prophecy and Annabeth’s capture.
Disney+ dropped the opening trailer for the third installment of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” slated for a Nov. 20 premiere. In the clip, Percy wrestles with a dream about the Great Prophecy, declaring that something ominous approaches. The official storyline follows Annabeth’s capture by Kronos’s minions, forcing Percy on a hazardous rescue mission that includes liberating a goddess in chains and confronting the Titan’s curse to prevent Olympus’s downfall.
The cast retains Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Leah Sava Jeffries and Dafne Keen, while adding new gods like Apollo, Aphrodite and Hera. Charlie Bushnell, Daniel Diemer and Dior Goodjohn also return, and the first minutes were shown at a San Diego Comic-Con panel that opened with Thalia Grace battling a monster. Creator Rick Riordan and co-showrunner Jonathan E. Steinberg lead the production, alongside a large team of executive producers.
