At the Cincinnati Open, Novak Djokovic made his 139th appearance in a Masters 1000 main draw, moving ahead of Roger Federer’s career tally of 138. The achievement also places him level with Feliciano Lopez for the highest number of entries in the elite ATP series. Djokovic’s connection to Cincinnati dates back to 2005, when a young qualifier fell to Fernando Gonzalez in a three-set opening match.
Over more than two decades he has collected 40 Masters 1000 titles, the most in men’s tennis, and holds records for wins, quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals appearances. He is also the only player to complete the Career Golden Masters twice. The new milestone underscores his longevity and dominance as he heads toward the 2026 US Open.
