DLF sees strong earnings boost from housing completions, rentals and margins

DLF Managing Director Ashok Tyagi said the firm expects revenue to rise sharply as post-COVID housing projects are finished, while cash flow and rental assets remain key growth drivers.

Ashok Tyagi, managing director of DLF, told analysts that revenue will climb markedly once the housing projects launched after the pandemic are completed and recognized in the accounts. He identified strong pre-sales, healthy cash and margin generation, and a growing rental business as the three core engines of growth. The firm reported a 10% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,301.35 crore for the latest quarter, with total income of Rs 2,297.30 crore, while sales bookings fell to Rs 3,800 crore due to a tighter supply of homes.

DLF also highlighted a full sell-out of its 172 senior-living homes in Gurugram for Rs 1,985 crore and continued demand for its super-luxury "The Dahlias" project. Operating cash flow reached Rs 1,858 crore and net cash stood at Rs 15,084 crore after a dividend payout of Rs 1,980 crore. The company aims for sales bookings of about Rs 20,000 crore in FY 2026-27.
