On October 4, Dr Hannah Cain, a 45-year-old Norfolk physician who served as a general practitioner for members of the Royal Family during stays at Sandringham, was found dead at her residence in Fern Hill, Dersingham. Her husband, Mark Cain, was arrested shortly after and on Tuesday was formally charged with her murder, remaining in custody ahead of a hearing at Norwich Magistrates Court. Cain, who also operated the cosmetic clinic Norfolk Sky Aesthetics and was part of the Grimston Medical Centre team, was a mother of three and described herself as a caring professional.
