Documentary Links Biden's 2021 Afghanistan Pullout to War Crimes and Chaos

On August 29, 2021, a U.S. unmanned drone struck a white Toyota Corolla in Kabul, killing ten people, including seven children, an incident later described by CENTCOM chief Frank McKenzie as a mistake for which he offered a personal apology. Five years later, the suicide bombing at Kabul’s Abbey Gate that killed 13 American service members and caused over 180 total deaths is being commemorated with upgraded medals for three Marines who protected the perimeter during the attack, as announced by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

The Department of War also released an update on its ongoing investigation into the bombing.
