DOJ Unveils Widespread Illegal Voting: 28 Charged Nationwide

Twenty-eight individuals in 12 different states have been charged with election interference or illegal voting in federal elections in the past two weeks, the U. Department of Justice says. The effort to root out illegal, noncitizen voting has come as part of a large-scale move by the Trump administration to ensure election integrity prior to this year’s midterm elections. This effort has extended to different states across the nation. On Monday, DOJ announced charges against 12 individuals relating to election crimes committed in seven different states.
