Dolly Parton, 80, discloses new health setbacks after canceling Dollywood appearance

The 80-year-old singer said she is coping with fresh health problems that forced her to miss a Dollywood event and postpone her Las Vegas residency.

In a recent interview, Dolly Parton revealed she is dealing with new health challenges that prevented her from attending a Dollywood theme-park event and caused the cancellation of her Las Vegas residency. She described symptoms like dizziness and dehydration, noting her physician’s recommendation to avoid travel until she recovers. Despite these setbacks, Parton affirmed she is still working, exploring early-stage avatar performance projects and producing a new Broadway show titled “Dolly: A True Original Musical.”

She also announced plans to open the Songteller Hotel in Nashville, launch a Purina dog-treat line, and debut a coffee partnership called Cup of Ambition Coffee. Parton thanked fans for their support and said treatments are improving her condition daily.
