Donald Trump nominates Lee Greenwood's wife as ambassador to Barbados and Caribbean nations
President Donald Trump has put forward Kimberly Greenwood, spouse of singer Lee Greenwood, to serve as U.S. ambassador to Barbados and six other Eastern Caribbean countries.
The White House announced that Kimberly Greenwood will be nominated as the United States' chief diplomatic representative to Barbados, as well as to St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The nomination was included in a broader package of judicial and diplomatic appointments sent to the Senate for consideration. If confirmed, she will hold the post for all seven nations without receiving extra pay for the additional accreditations.
