DOTr accelerates construction of relocation housing for NSCR-affected families
The Department of Transportation said it is speeding up the building of relocation sites for households displaced by the North-South Commuter Railway project in Pampanga.
The DOTr announced that work on two housing complexes—San Fernando View Residences in Mexico and Casa de Angeles in Angeles City—is being fast-tracked to meet the railway’s 2028 partial-operation target. Officials are closely monitoring progress to keep the projects on schedule. The railway will link Metro Manila with Pampanga and Laguna over a 147-kilometre corridor.
