Dr. Brandt launches at-home Oxygen Facial Mask promising spa-like results

Dermatologist-founded Dr. Brandt has reissued its third-generation Oxygen Facial Mask, a bubbly treatment designed to brighten and hydrate skin at home.

Dr. Brandt, a beauty line founded by a dermatologist, has relaunched its third-generation Oxygen Facial Mask, branding it as a convenient at-home alternative to spa oxygen facials. The product bubbles upon contact with moisture, and users are instructed to apply a thin coat, wait three to five minutes, then rinse. Formulated with botanicals like OxyGlow privet fruit extract, lavender oil, plus humectants glycerin and hydroxyethyl urea, the mask aims to improve brightness, hydration, and skin firmness.

Clinical trials mentioned in the release noted a 17.4% increase in skin density and a 50% drop in water loss after four weeks of use. The brand also promotes an Advanced Microdermabrasion Face Exfoliator, intended for one to two weekly applications, to complement the mask. While not the cheapest option, the mask offers over 60 applications per bottle, making it cheaper than a single professional facial.

Why it matters

It gives consumers a dermatologist-backed, at-home option to mimic spa oxygen facials without the appointment cost.
