Dragonpass leverages AI to turn airport perks into personalized travel experiences

Dragonpass has introduced an AI Airport Concierge with Alibaba Cloud, using Qwen language models to offer travelers customized itinerary suggestions and airport services.

Dragonpass, which serves more than 40 million members across 800 corporate clients, is shifting its model from benefit discovery to AI-generated personalized travel experiences. By employing conversational AI, travelers can describe their preferences and receive itinerary recommendations that automatically include airport lounges, transfers and local services. In collaboration with Alibaba Cloud, the firm launched an AI Airport Concierge powered by Qwen large language models, reaching over 100,000 users within eight months.

The service integrates the company's extensive airport network with intelligent assistance at a key travel touchpoint. Looking ahead, Dragonpass intends to roll out broader AI-enhanced travel and lifestyle offerings in regions including Brazil, South Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, aiming for end-to-end personalization worldwide.
