Dreame unveils steam-powered robot vacuum at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026, Dreame introduced the Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete, the first robot vacuum that generates steam on board to tackle stubborn grime.
Dreame showcased its Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete at IFA 2026, marking the debut of a robot vacuum equipped with an onboard steam generator. The device sprays a hot jet to soften caked-on dirt, then passes over it with a roller that removes the loosened material; the roller is continuously wetted by sixteen nozzles. A dedicated tank captures the used water, which is later emptied at the docking station.
The premium unit adds an 8 cm side-extension to the roller for edge cleaning and can climb obstacles up to 10 cm high, with a 5 cm capability for single steps. Additional upgrades include stronger suction than the previous model, a carpet-protective barrier, and a base that sanitises the roller at 100 °C and dries it with hot air. Dreame also displayed complementary steam-enhanced mops such as the T16 Pro Steam and T16 Pro Heat, alongside other models ranging from entry-level to high-performance variants.
