Dreyer's recalls five Outshine Fruit Bar flavors over possible glass contamination

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream issued a recall covering five varieties of its Outshine Fruit Bars after discovering that the 2.5-ounce paddle bars might contain glass fragments. The affected flavors—strawberry, watermelon, grape, tangerine and black cherry—are packaged in six-count boxes and were distributed across the United States. The company emphasized that no other Outshine items are part of the recall and that, to date, no reports of illness or injury have been received.

Detailed batch codes and best-before dates were provided for each flavor to help consumers identify affected products. Dreyer's instructed anyone who purchased the recalled bars to either discard them or return them to the retailer for a full refund. The recall aims to protect public safety while minimizing inconvenience for shoppers.
