A drone exploded at a staff bus stop of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, killing one person and wounding multiple others.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said a drone detonated around 6 a.m. at a bus stop used by employees and contractors of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear station, leaving one dead and three seriously injured among 16 total casualties. Plant officials called the incident the worst the facility has experienced. The plant, seized by Russian forces in early 2022, has been a flashpoint for accusations over nuclear safety.
