Overnight on Sept. 28, a drone assault set fire to the Pavlovskaya oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, according to one outlet's reports. The attack was documented by the Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+, which posted video of the flames and identified the facility. Earlier drone strikes hit an oil depot in Novotitarovskaya on Sept. 24 and the Ilsky oil refinery on Sept. 26, both claimed by Ukrainian forces.
Russian authorities confirmed a fire at an unnamed site in the Dinsky district but gave no casualty figures. Ukraine’s General Staff described the operations as part of intensified long-range attacks aimed at Russian oil assets, which they say have already reduced a large share of Russia’s refining capacity. Independent verification of the footage and damage assessments remains limited.
