Dubai Investments to Offer $592 million in Dividends to Boost UAE's First IPO Amid Regional Tensions

Dubai Investments' subsidiary DIP Holding PLC is marketing a 20% stake in the UAE's first IPO of the year, promising $592 million in dividends over three years as regional conflict fuels market uncertainty.

DIP Holding PLC, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, is seeking investors for the United Arab Emirates' first initial public offering of the year, offering a 20% stake and pledging $592 million in dividend payouts across 2026-2028. The subscription window runs from 27 October to 3 November, with trading slated to start on 11 November on the Dubai Stock Exchange. Dividend commitments total 700 million dirhams in 2026, increasing to 750 million dirhams by 2028, while Dubai Investments will divest its existing shares and DIP Holding will receive none of the sale proceeds.

Citigroup, Emirates NBD Capital and HSBC act as joint global coordinators, with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Arqaam, Dubai Islamic Bank and EFG Hermes serving as joint bookrunners. The offering is positioned against a backdrop of sharply reduced IPO activity in the Gulf, where regional war and market volatility have depressed fundraising to its lowest level since 2017.

Why it matters

The dividend-heavy IPO aims to attract capital to the UAE despite heightened geopolitical risk, signaling confidence in the region's market recovery.
