Duterte-Padilla tandem leads Robredo-Aquino in latest OCTA poll

OCTA Research’s nationwide Tugon ng Masa poll finds the Sara Duterte and Robin Padilla combination leading the Leni Robredo and Bam Aquino partnership with 48% versus 36% of voter preference, leaving 16% still undecided. The 12-point lead marks the tightest race between the two tickets to date. Prior commissioned surveys from 2025 reported a gap of roughly 20 to 25 points, indicating a trend toward a closer contest ahead of the 2028 elections.

Fieldwork for the poll was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adult respondents. The national margin of error is ±3% at a 95% confidence level, with regional margins of ±6% for Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
