Dyson adds liquid-cooled straightener and anti-snag dryer brush to hair lineup
Dyson unveiled the $329 Corrale CoolShine straightener, which uses water-filled cooling pipes, and the $249 Airsmooth dryer brush with redesigned bristles to lessen heat damage and snagging.
Dyson expanded its beauty range this month with two hair-care tools. The $329 Corrale CoolShine straightener incorporates water-filled cooling pipes alongside the original flexing copper plates, which heat to more than 400 °F, to draw excess heat from hair during a single pass and leave it feeling cooler and smoother. The $249 Airsmooth dryer brush merges the airflow technology of the Supersonic dryer with a custom brush that has a teardrop shape for volume and looped bristles that collapse under tension, minimizing snagging and enhancing scalp comfort.
Its intelligent heat-control system tweaks temperature up to 100 times per second, helping to reduce frizz and the risk of heat damage. Together, the products aim to deliver styling results while protecting hair from prolonged exposure to high heat.
Why it matters
The launch shows Dyson’s push to blend styling performance with hair-damage prevention, a growing consumer priority.
