easyJet to install Starlink Wi-Fi on all aircraft starting next year
easyJet announced that it will equip its fleet with Starlink satellite internet, offering onboard Wi-Fi to passengers from next year.
easyJet confirmed plans to provide in-flight Wi-Fi to all passengers by leveraging SpaceX’s Starlink satellite network. Installation will begin on the airline’s A230 and A321 aircraft in the first half of next year, with the rollout completed by early 2028. Kenton Jarvis, the airline’s chief executive, said the move reflects the increasing importance of digital connectivity for holidaymakers and business travelers alike.
Gwynne Shotwell, president and COO of SpaceX, praised the collaboration, noting that Starlink will enable uninterrupted streaming, work, and communication throughout flights. easyJet carried 100 million passengers in 2025, making the upgrade a significant enhancement for one of Europe’s largest airlines. The partnership underscores easyJet’s focus on innovation and customer experience.
