EcoFlow unveils 8kWh home battery and new modular C&I storage system
EcoFlow introduced an 8kWh residential battery and a modular commercial-industrial storage solution at Solar & Storage Live in Birmingham.
At Solar & Storage Live Birmingham, EcoFlow launched an 8kWh residential battery designed to increase storage capacity per module, reducing the number of units needed for high-capacity home systems. The new unit addresses rising household loads from electric vehicles, heat pumps, and other electrified technologies. In parallel, EcoFlow introduced Alps, a modular DC-coupled commercial and industrial storage system configurable from 60kWh up to 261kWh and from 29.9kW to 80kW, featuring plug-and-play stacking and IP66 protection.
The company also showcased OASIS 3, an intelligent home-energy management platform to optimise solar generation, storage use and tariff timing. Craig Bilboe, EcoFlow’s UK residential head, highlighted the need for greater capacity and flexibility without added installation complexity. The announcements signal EcoFlow’s expansion from portable power into full-scale residential and commercial energy solutions.
