Economy class tickets on ECRL set at RM125 for Gombak-Kota Baru route
Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd announced that economy-class tickets on the East Coast Rail Link between Gombak and Kota Baru will start at RM125, with service expected to begin mid-December.
The fare structure, approved on Oct 16, uses a dynamic pricing model. Economy tickets for the 523-km Gombak-Kota Baru corridor will be RM125, while express fares on that route start at RM147. Transit fares to Kuala Terengganu and KotaSAS are set at RM95 and RM60 respectively, and express fares to those destinations begin at RM110 and RM68. Commercial operations are slated for mid-December.
