EcoWorld posts 11% Q3 profit rise as sales hit new record
EcoWorld Development Group reported an 11% increase in net profit for Q3 FY26, driven by stronger property sales and a dividend of two sen per share.
EcoWorld Development Group Bhd announced that its net profit for Q3 FY26 increased by 11% to RM112 million, compared with RM101 million in the same period last year, as property sales accelerated. Revenue for the quarter rose 27.5% to RM971.5 million, and the company declared a dividend of two sen per share payable on Oct 23. For the nine-month stretch, profit grew 27.7% to RM397.7 million and revenue surged 43% to RM3.1 billion.
President and CEO Datuk Seri Chang Khim Wah reported that the firm exceeded its FY26 sales target of RM4.0 billion, achieving RM4.05 billion in sales within the first ten months. He highlighted a recent agreement to sell two parcels of industrial land in Eco Business Park VII, Negri Sembilan, and the award of a 4,283.4 sq m land tender in Singapore as key milestones. The company expects a strong finish to the fiscal year with diversified earnings.
