Minister Édouard Geffray toured the lycée polyvalent de Cachan after students reported being blocked from entering the vandalised school.
During a visit to the lycée polyvalent de Cachan, Édouard Geffray listened to concerns raised by members of the student council. Outside the school, about ten pupils holding handmade signs were denied access. The visit came a day after the minister announced the deployment of 3 000 unassigned substitute teachers to classrooms. The lycée, the largest in the Créteil academy, normally serves roughly 2 000 students.
