Eight-year-old boy wounded by stray dogs on Kelantan beach
An eight-year-old was bitten on the head and neck by stray dogs while playing near a beach in Bachok, Kelantan, and was later taken to hospital.
Police chief Ismail Jamaluddin said a resort worker reported the incident at about 9.30 am. The child, Azuar Firdaus Zuraiman, was playing with relatives when a pack of five dogs rushed toward them. He fell, was attacked, and managed to reach the sea before the dogs chased him up to his neck. A nearby foreign worker drove the dogs away and rescued him. He received stitches at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II after an initial visit to a local clinic.
