Eight-year-old dies after horse kicks him in Warrington livery centre
An eight-year-old boy was fatally injured when a horse kicked him in the head at the Beeches Livery Centre in Warrington.
Louie Isaac Webster, an eight-year-old from Wigan, was visiting the Beeches Livery Centre in Warrington with his mother Rebecca and his teenage sister, whose horse was kept there. After asking Louie to wait on a bench while she fetched a drink, he wandered into a fenced-off arena and approached a horse, which became frightened and kicked him in the head. Bystanders performed CPR and emergency services rushed him to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, but he could not be revived and died at 7:45 pm. Detective Inspector Joanna Morgan led the investigation, and Coroner Victoria Davies concluded the incident an accidental death.
