Elderly South Australian tourists rescued in Tasmania's Dial Range after missing for two days

An elderly couple from South Australia, Clementina (81) and Peter (79), disappeared while sightseeing in north-west Tasmania on Tuesday afternoon. Their family reported them missing that night when they did not arrive at their intended destination. Tasmania Police launched aerial and ground searches, focusing on the Milabena region and nearby locales such as Penguin, Gawler and Gunns Plains.
Early Thursday, a search unit located the couple's car parked on Cookes Road near Riana, and rescuers soon found the pair in the nearby Dial Range, described as cold and wet with minor injuries.
