Eleanor Givens clinches first LET victory after 210 attempts at Swiss Open

At the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open in Zug, England's Eleanor Givens captured her first Ladies European Tour title, finishing one stroke ahead of the leaders. She posted a flawless five-under 66 on the final day, having recorded just a single bogey all week. Alexandra Försterling made an unusual par on the 14th after her ball got stuck in a tree, and she joined Anna Foster and Whitney Hillier in a tie for second place.

Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjaell rounded out the top five. Givens joins Charley Hull and Esme Hamilton as the third English champion on the LET this year, and the next tournament is the KPMG Women's Irish Open beginning August 27.
