Elite Norwegian mountain runner Ida Amelie Robsahm dies after fall on Romsdalseggen

Ida Amelie Robsahm, a 30-year-old elite mountain runner from Norway, died in a fall on the iconic Romsdalseggen ridge over the weekend. Reports indicate she fell several tens of metres, a tragic accident on a trail that climbs to 1,329 metres above sea level. Robsahm had been a prominent competitor on the world stage, finishing fourth at the 2025 World Championships in mountain running.
