Ella Langley’s Two Albums Simultaneously Reach Their Highest Chart Positions

Both of Ella Langley’s full-length releases have climbed back to their career-best spots on the Top Country Albums chart this week.

Ella Langley now holds two positions inside the top five of the Top Country Albums chart, with Dandelion returning to No. 1 after a brief dip to second place, displacing Morgan Wallen, her collaborator on “I Can’t Love You Anymore.” Hungover, her debut album, edged up to its former high of No. 5. The surge is linked to the massive popularity of the single “Choosin’ Texas,” which not only propelled Dandelion but also drove listeners back to Hungover and even sparked chart activity for her 2023 EP Excuse the Mess, which peaked at No. 39.

Dandelion remains a strong performer across four Billboard rankings, holding No. 1 on the country album list, rising to No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums, and staying at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, though it fell to No. 15 on Top Album Sales. Hungover, while climbing on the country chart, fell on the Billboard 200 and streaming charts. The dual peak underscores Langley’s growing influence in country music.

Why it matters

The dual chart peaks highlight Ella Langley’s rising prominence and commercial impact in country music.
