Elon Musk pushes X AI bot Grok to mock Billie Eilish over perfume launch
Elon Musk used his xAI chatbot Grok to generate a harsh critique of Billie Eilish’s perfume promotion, then asked the bot to make the roast longer and more vulgar.
Billie Eilish shared a promotional clip for her latest perfume on X, noting the product’s release. Elon Musk responded by asking his xAI chatbot Grok to “roast” her alleged hypocrisy for criticizing capitalism while selling a luxury fragrance and living in a multimillion-dollar home. Grok’s initial reply summarized the inconsistency in a short statement, which Musk dismissed as “boring” and too brief.
He then instructed the AI to produce a longer, vulgar, and wittier critique. The revised output referenced Eilish’s $14 million Los Angeles residence on Tongva land and the $88 price of the perfume, labeling the situation as “peak intense hypocrisy.” Musk commented that the new version was “a little better.” The exchange follows earlier online tension, including Eilish’s past Instagram remarks calling Musk a “coward” as his net worth neared a trillion dollars.
