Emergency responders rush to Hillarys after possible shark incident at Sorrento Beach
Emergency crews and police were dispatched to Sorrento Beach near Hillarys Boat Harbour following reports of a suspected shark attack.
Around 10.15 am, three St John WA teams responded under priority-one conditions to a possible shark encounter at Sorrento Beach. Water police and Surf Life Saving WA also arrived, with the latter confirming a shark interaction at 10.20 am. A witness said the incident occurred near Raleigh Road, close to the popular waterfront area.
