Emergency warning issued as uncontrolled bushfire spreads through Central Gippsland
The Country Fire Authority has ordered residents of Golden Beach, Paradise Beach and Seacombe in Victoria's Central Gippsland to prepare to evacuate as a bushfire moves southeast along the Longford-Loch Sport Road.
An out-of-control bushfire ignited on Sunday afternoon in Central Gippsland and is advancing toward the coast. The Country Fire Authority (CFA) has issued a Watch and Act alert for the communities of Golden Beach, Paradise Beach and Seacombe, urging them to get ready to leave. The fire is travelling in a south-easterly direction along the Longford-Loch Sport Road. Fire crews are on the scene and will provide further updates as they combat the blaze.
