Eni launches 30% discount on electricity and gas for new customers

Eni introduced a new consumer offer called Plenitude that reduces electricity and gas bills by 30% relative to its main fixed-price tariff. The company estimates the discount will save customers around €100 annually on gas and a similar amount on electricity, potentially reaching €200 per year for households that adopt both services. The price reduction is guaranteed for two years, and Eni will keep the raw-material costs steady, covering recent supply-cost hikes itself.

This initiative is part of the "Eni per l’Italia" programme aimed at easing the financial strain of high energy prices on Italian families. The move follows earlier fuel-price caps that lowered gasoline and diesel costs, prompting other providers to adjust their rates. Eni hopes the discount will help alleviate household energy expenses during a period of market volatility.
